“I’m a Doctor, Not a Physicist!”
Dr. David Hirsch is a big fan of Star Trek. In school, he decided to study science and graduated from McGill University in 1988 with a bachelors degree in Physiology. During this time Dr. Hirsch also picked up quite an interest in the field of art. He decidedly covered a few periods ranging from abstract to renaissance styling. After graduating from university, Dr. Hirsch went on to complete dental training and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) title in 1993. Winning more than a few achievements during his time studying also. Going even further, Dr. Hirsch decided to continue his education by pursuing a Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Master of Science degree. After publishing his thesis, Dr. Hirsch not only went on to open his own Star Trek themed orthodontic practice. He also became a clinical instructor and lecturer at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Hirsch really knows his field. His primary focus in the field is on the development of the dentition and occlusion, edgewise appliances, and the treatment of impacted teeth. Dr. Hirsch is also a member of several prestigious groups. They are: The Canadian Association of Orthodontists, Ontario Association of Orthodontists, and American Association of Orthodontists, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada, Alpha Omega, and the Invisalign® Study Club.

Within our office, you will find a collection of Star Trek memorabilia. Featuring many props from the Star Trek television series and movies. You will encounter Federation, Klingon, alien weapons, medical devices, PADDS, Borg Drones and Alcove, concept art, ships, and yes, even Tribbles, all of which were used on set.
