Dr. Hirsch completed his dental training at McGill University. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. Going the extra mile while in his in final year in dentistry at McGill, Dr. Hirsch served as President of the Graduating Class. Dr. Hirsch also served as the President of the Dental Fraternity, while acting as a student member of the Curriculum Committee. During his studies, Dr. Hirsch has been recognized for many different accomplishments and prizes.
Dr. Hirsch then went on to complete orthodontic training at University of Detroit Mercy, where he received a Certificate in Orthodontics (Cert. Ortho) as well as a Master of Science (M.S.) degree. He is recognized by societies such as the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, Ontario Association of Orthodontists, and American Association of Orthodontists.
